In reference to the announcement from the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) on the registration of the Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) wishing to provide services under the PAI directives and technical regulations, this form allows to CABs to apply for the registration. Technical Assessment for Notification Purposes

With regards to the agreement with GCC Standardization Organization "GSO", GAC is in charge to conduct technical assessment for the notification according the technical regulations for some products such as Toys (BD-131704-01) and Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances (BD-142004-01).

Accreditation of HALAL Certification Bodies

GCC Accreditation Center provides accreditation services in the scheme of Halal Certification according to the standard GSO 2055-2:2021.

Assessor Qualification

Accreditation depends mostly on the assessment process, which is based on the effectiveness of technical competence of assessors. Accordingly, GAC is keen to attract skilled persons in all areas of accreditation from all over the world with the advantage for the ones belonging to the countries of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Accreditation decision committee and accreditation decision manager reviews the assessment's deliverables & make accreditation decision issuance of accreditation.

Outcomes of the Assessment

Assessment reports, the nonconformity cases, scope of accreditation, corrective action evidence, assessment team recommendation on accreditation, etc.

Closure of Findings

CAB submits corrective action evidence for closure of findings within allowed time limit
