GAC Signs MOA with Azerbaijan Accreditation Center at Second Azerbaijani-Gulf Economic Forum

On September 25-26, 2024, during the Second Azerbaijani-Gulf Economic Forum in Baku, Eng. Moteb S. Al-Mezani, the Director General of the GCC Accreditation Center, signed a cooperation agreement with the Azerbaijani Accreditation Center (AZAK). This event, organized by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers under the theme “Sustainability, Investments, Partnerships,” was supported by the Azerbaijani government, including the Ministry of Economy and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The agreement aims to bolster economic ties between the Gulf states and Azerbaijan by exploring mutual investment opportunities and enhancing trade exchanges. Key projects and investment opportunities in sectors such as food security, agriculture, energy, logistics, and transportation will be highlighted.

Recognizing the significance of this event in strengthening Gulf-Azerbaijani economic and trade relations, the GCC Accreditation Center is committed to leveraging collaboration opportunities to achieve the ultimate goals of trade and economic development within the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries.
