GAC Achieves Prestigious International Recognition for Accreditation Efforts.

In a significant milestone, the Gulf Cooperation Council Accreditation Center (GAC) has been awarded a certificate of mutual recognition by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) for its exceptional accreditation of certification bodies for management systems and certification bodies for products. This recognition underscores GAC’s commitment to upholding the highest standards in certification and validation processes.

Moreover, GAC has also received a certificate of mutual recognition from the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) for its commendable work in medical laboratory accreditation, further solidifying its position as a leader in accreditation services.

The culmination of these achievements was celebrated during the ILAC and IAF annual meetings in Montreal, Canada, held from November 6 to 15, 2023. Notably, GAC played a pivotal role in these gatherings, chairing one of the meetings and actively participating in the Executive Committee meeting of the esteemed IAF organization.
