GAC Proudly Collaborates with Partners EIAC & ENAS in Hosting APAC 2024

Dubai, UAE – July 17, 2024

GCC Accreditation Center, with Partners EIAC & ENAS, Leads Historic Asia-Pacific Accreditation Organization Annual Meeting in Dubai.

We are thrilled to announce a landmark achievement for the GCC Accreditation Center, alongside our esteemed partners, the Emirates International Accreditation Center (EIAC) and the Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS). Together, we have successfully hosted the prestigious Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation Annual Meetings from July 13-18, 2024, marking the first-ever gathering of its kind in the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates.

This momentous event showcased unparalleled cooperation and synergy among GCC accreditation bodies, underscoring our shared commitment to international collaboration. It reaffirms our collective aspiration for excellence and leadership in accreditation across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The culmination of this gathering was marked by the General Committee meeting of the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Organization on July 17, 2024. The event drew participation from 65 accreditation bodies and over 250 members of the Asia-Pacific Organization, alongside a distinguished assembly of industry experts and technicians in accreditation and conformity assessment.

Our successful hosting not only highlights the GCC Accreditation Center’s dedication to advancing quality infrastructure but also strengthens the GCC’s standing as a pivotal hub for regional and international quality assurance activities. This milestone contributes significantly to streamlining trade processes through harmonized procedures, unified test reports, and enhanced mutual recognition of conformity assessment results and certificates.
