As part of strengthening institutional cooperation and integrating roles among quality and accreditation-related stakeholders, and enhancing partnership with interested parties, the Omani Accreditation Centre, in cooperation with the GCC Accreditation Center, is organizing the Stakeholders Committee Seminar, with the participation of representatives from government and private entities, as well as experts and specialists in the field of accreditation.
The seminar aims to highlight the national and international accreditation systems, raise awareness of the role of stakeholders in supporting and developing accreditation activities, and discuss best practices and experiences. It also includes presentations on international recognition mechanisms and the role of innovation and modern technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—in enhancing accreditation and conformity assessment processes.
Furthermore, the seminar provides an interactive platform for dialogue and the exchange of views, exploring opportunities for joint improvement and development, and concluding with practical recommendations that contribute to strengthening confidence in the accreditation system and enhancing the quality of services and products, in line with national and regional directions toward achieving sustainable development.
